A new flag for Scotland
Recently our Creative Director Sean Cornell was asked by Transform magazine to submit a revised Scottish Flag design ahead of the decision on unification. Above is he creative thought and some words below about the proposed new flag.
“The Union Jack is arguably one of the most iconic of flags. If Scotland decide to leave, a powerful union would still exist. Surely retaining as much iconic recognition of the remaining union, and also a legacy of the previous union somewhat should be a priority? After all there would still be a wonderfully powerful union still left. Our suggested solution to retain as much iconic status as possible would see the blue being replaced by the black inherent in the St David’s Cross. And why not add back in a little bit of colour with a slither of the yellow also from the Cross of St David.”
